Marine Wildlife

An abundance of wildlife calls the Emerald Coast home. Come visit the world’s oldest, continuously operating live marine show at the Gulfarium on Okaloosa Island, and connect with local marine wildlife such as Sea Turtles, Stingray and Dolphin.

You’ll see herons as you walk along the beach, sea turtles in their natural habitat, and bottlenose dolphins at play in the sound. Walk the beach shoreline at night with a flashlight to watch fiddler crabs scurry across the sand.  Watch sandpiper birds skip along the water’s edge and fly across the horizon.  Okaloosa Island provides a unique and memorable experience and opportunity to connect with marine life.
